Local Singles Near is written by a small team of locals in each city we cover — starting with Las Vegas. The premise is simple: nearly everything written about dating in a given city is either tourist-brochure fluff or pickup-artist junk. These guides are neither — they describe how a city's singles scene actually works, name real places and real trade-offs, and give the same recommendations we'd give a friend.

How this site makes money

Some links are sponsored: when we recommend a dating site and you join through our link, that site may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing, and it never changes the recommendation — where a partner site genuinely isn't the best answer, we say so and recommend the competitor (as we do for relationship-seekers throughout the Vegas guide).
